Based in Sea Point Medical Centre this practice was first founded by well known therapist Derek Marks in 1996.
Karl now practices sports and remedial massage to the general public as well as to the athlete.

Training and Background
Coming from a Sport Science and Fitness background (ETA), massage was my next logical step . After completing a diploma in Therapeutic Massage (dipl.CIAHS), I have travelled and worked alongside many different health care practitioners around the world.
Using the body's own movement as an aid, I have developed my own unique style when treating injuries or stubborn muscle spams.

The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension and increase the blood flow to your heart. Swedish Massage is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle toxins, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body.
